A therapeutic diet is an important way to fight against gastritis. A mild meal menu helps reduce stress on the stomach and prevents irritation of its walls. The exact list of foods that can and cannot be eaten depends on the type of disease and the features of its course.

There are also desserts on the diet table for a sick stomach. The list of permitted sweets includes: marmalade, marshmallows, jellies, souffles, puddings, unleavened cookies. If tolerated, you can pamper yourself with condensed milk or a scoop of homemade ice cream.

With acute gastritis, fasting is often shown on the first day, but after 12-24 hours one should not refuse to eat. During the first week, mainly light liquid foods are consumed: mashed vegetable soups, viscous porridge in water (oats, rice).
For 3-4 days of diet with exacerbation of gastritis, you can choose the following menu:
- Jelly
- ;
- steamed omelet;
- mashed potatoes;
- curd puff.
When it gets easier and the severe discomfort in the stomach goes away, you can eat steamed meatballs and cutlets, white bread crackers, lean pieces of boiled meat and fish, biscuits. After about 2 weeks, meals are organized according to the principle of diet No. 1 or No. 2.

Several healthy recipes
Steamed fish cutlets.
For gastritis, diet recipes involve the use of lean fish. It is useful to eat hake, cod and pollock at least 2-3 times a week. You can buy ready-made fillets. Otherwise, you need to cut the fish carcass.
- 200 g of fish fillets;
- 50 g of white bread pulp;
- 3 tablespoons of milk;
- 1 egg white;
- 15 g of butter;
- salt at least.
Stir the milk-soaked pulp into the fish fillet. Salt the mass, scroll twice through a meat grinder. Add protein to minced meat, mix well. Form small patties and steam. Pour the melted butter over the dish before serving.
Steamed omelet.
Quail eggs are a great alternative to eggs in an omelet. They are considered very useful and are also found to be more delicate.
- 10 quail eggs;
- 3-4 tablespoons of milk;
- 2 teaspoons of flour;
- a pinch of salt;
- vegetable oil (to lubricate the mold).
Whisk several times and the eggs are mixed. All other ingredients except oil are added to it. Many gastritis recipes allow the use of finely chopped herbs, so dill can be thrown in for the smell. The mass is lightly whipped and poured in a greased form, cooked in a steam bath.
Baked apples with cottage cheese.
This recipe is suitable even for people with acute gastritis. In case of illness, especially in the first weeks, the list of permitted fruits is small. Typically, these are baked bananas and apples. The dessert is easy to digest and contains pectin, which improves digestion.
- 3-4 apples;
- 100 g of low-fat cottage cheese;
- 1 egg yolk;
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar;
- 10 g of starch.
Wash the fruits well, cut the tops in the shape of "lids". Using a small spoon, carefully remove the seeds and part of the pulp in a circle. Apples should have walls of at least 1 cm.
In a topping blender, combine cottage cheese with powdered sugar, yolk and starch. If available, add vanilla sugar. Firmly “stuff” the apples with the sweet mass and put them in a mold with sides. In the oven, turned on in advance at 200 degrees, the dessert should be kept for 20-25 minutes. Pouring a little water in the bottom of the baking sheet will make the baked apples more tender.
